Welcome to the Adelaide Chapter of the Network Professional Association
(NPA)
|
The NPA's mission is to advance
the network computing profession.
NPA is an independent, self-regulating, non-profit
association of networking professionals that sets standards of technical
expertise and professionalism to promote a common profession.
About the Adelaide
Chapter
The Adelaide Chapter of the NPA was formed in 1996 by a group
of networkers who were concerned about the professionalism,
standards and opportunities in the Adelaide computer networking
industry. Today we have over 40 members all
of whom are actively involved in the Adelaide computer
networking scene. The NPA Adelaide Chapter is part of an
international organisation which has in excess of 10,000 members
forming some 100 Chapters worldwide.
The membership consists of people who have a great desire to
continue developing as a computer networking professional. Our
members typically work for large corporate organisations, small
business or are independent contractors and consultants.
Adelaide Chapter Meetings
When:
The Adelaide Chapter conducts monthly meetings beginning February
through to December for members and their guests on the 2nd Tuesday

What:
Meetings are a forum to get together and discuss new technologies
and issues which affect all network professionals. Our guest presenters,

The aim is to develop our technical knowledge through strong technical
presentations and peer group interaction.

Our meetings are held at Adelaide Institute Of TAFE, Room S230, Level 2, 120 Currie St.,
Adelaide from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

our monthly meetings to share your knowledge amongst peers.
